Hi! I'm Sarah and I currently live in San Francisco where I am a research scientist on the Demography & Survey Science team at Facebook.

Previously, I was a data scientist at The Messina Group. In 2016, I spent five months as a data scientist on the analytics team at Hillary for America in Brooklyn. Before that, I worked in the Predictive Analytics Center of Excellence at Zurich North America in Chicago.

I have a PhD in Environmental Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University; my research was centered on modeling risk and reliability in critical infrastructure networks (particularly electric power systems).

I like prime numbers, Carolina basketball, and my dog.
